Kelp Diagrams - Overview
The system displays a number of pre-made datasets, where every point is part of one or more sets.
Every type of set has multiple, distinct options. No point may be part of more than one of these sets.
(e.g there may be three sets of excellent customer rating, good customer rating and average customer rating. No point can be part of both excellent and average customer rating)
Datasets
In order to switch datasets, a context menu can be opened by right-clicking anywhere on the map.
The given datasets are as follows:
- Oslo - Debug entries without real world applications
- G7 - Depicts population (beige, rose, purple) versus the vehicle driving side (green, red)
- TU Wien - Depicts restaurants around the TU Wien. Pricing (green, light-blue, dark-blue) vs customer rating (gold, orange, red)
- Italian Cities - Depicts crime rates (red, orange, green) and population densities (dark-blue, light-blue, purple) in Italian cities.
Switching datasets does not recenter the map, so manual map interaction is needed to find the displayed diagram.
