Abstract

High dynamic range rendering in realtime graphics has increased the visual quality of realtime scenes essentially. There are several techniques of HDR-Rendering. This work summarizes the theoretical background and results of previous works. A ready-to-use HDR rendering library has been developed that integrates seamlessly into the open source graphics engine Ogre3D. Further a comparison that show the advantages and disadvantages of different techniques in a realtime rendered scene has been made.
