Abstract

With our Season’s Greetings we are sending you an automatically generated brochure that provides routing information for several of Vienna’s Christ- mas markets. In the middle you can see an overview map that provides approximate locations as well as routing information. Around the map you can see so-called ‘detail lenses’ that provide more exact maps and routing as well as names and photographs. All elements are arranged using a binary integer program (BIP), whose goal is the positioning of the detail lenses as close as possible to their correspond- ing markers in the overview map.
