Yes! This news are really that big! I put three animations on the WEB, made with the
enhanced Version of POV. Let's check out them together:
All of them are in SGI MVC1, Apple QuickTime and MPEG-1 format!
EXPLOSION
The first one models a spherical halo with a fire-like colour-map. I made it explode
with just adding higher and higher turbulence.
(450k-SGI)
(170k-QT)
(46k-MPEG)
FIREPOOL
The second is a planar mapped fire-like halo in a cube rotating around the
vertical axis. While it rotates, the turbulent flame get's more laminar and again
turbulent.
(750k-SGI)
(650k-QT Video)
(479k-MPEG)
DUSTCUBE
This is a simple parameter animation of the scattering directionality
of the dust. A single spherical light source lights up all the dust. Enjoy!
(750k-SGI)
(960k-QT)
(171-MPEG)
SMOKELIGHT
This one shows again the scattering directionality of the dust.
A single spotlight turns around an object, casting shadows into the dust.
(750k-SGI)
(630k-QT)
(264k-MPEG)
POOR GLOBE!
The climate catastrophe could cause bad surprises to everybody!
Here is a horristic twisting fire around the poor Globe!
(400k-SGI)
(370k-QT)
(190k-MPEG)
