Shutter Glasses

We propose shutter-glasses for the stereoscopic display of 3D data. Summagraphics is the leading company for liquid crystal shutter glasses technology. Silicon Graphics workstations provide hardware support for the CrystalEyes product, which provides stereo viewing by showing the left image on your display while the right lens of CrystalEyes is closed, then showing the right images on the display while the left lens is closed. Because this happens a minimum of 120 times per second, observers perceive left and right views simultaneously and fuse both images to a spatial impression.
