The 22nd Central European Seminar on Computer Graphics (CESCG) is a unique conference-like event for Bachelor's and Master's students of computer graphics. The event is organised by the Institute 193-02 and includes an interactive EXPO with exciting industrial workshops of ~20 companies and research institutions which present the state of the art in our field.
Vom 26.2. bis 2.3.2018 findet am Institut 193-02 gemeinsam mit dem Partner VRVIs ein von der FFG gefördertes Qualifizierungsseminar für KMUs statt.
Qualifizierungsseminare sind fünftägige Schulungs- und Trainingsmaßnahmen zu FTEI-Themen und Dienstleistungsinnovationen, die Universitäten bzw. Fachhochschulen für österreichische Unternehmen anbieten. Der Inhalt wird maßgeschneidert an den Bedarf der teilnehmenden Unternehmen angepasst.
Das Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) ist eine der größten Organisationen weltweit, die sich der Weiterentwicklung von Technologien zum Nutzen der Menschheit widmet. Mit Women in Engineering (WIE) verfügt das IEEE über eine Berufsorganisation, die sich speziell für die Förderung von Ingenieurinnen und Wissenschaftlerinnen einsetzt und Mädchen weltweit dazu inspiriert, eine Karriere im Ingenieurwesen zu verfolgen.

Zum 30. Jahrestag des Bibliotheksgebäudes wird die große Eulenstatue an der Bibliotheksfassade als "Transponder" zwischen dem gesammelten Wissen und dem umgebenden Stadtraum und seinen Nutzern fungieren. Vom 13. November bis zum 12. Dezember 2017 werden täglich von 17.00 bis 23.00 Uhr 24 wissenschaftliche Bilder auf die Eule projiziert.
