Katharina Krösl gewinnt mit Live-Demo "XREye" den Best Research Demo Award der IEEE VR 2020

Die IEEE VR 2020 fand dieses Jahr von 22. bis 26 März 2020 als Online-Konferenz statt. Auch Katharina Krösl, nahm von ihrem Homeoffice aus als Avatar an der Konferenz teil und gewann mit der Live-Demo zu ihrem Forschungsprojekt "XREye" den Best Research Demo Award.

In diesem Projekt beschäftigt sich Katharina Krösl damit, wie man mithilfe von VR und XR Sehbehinderungen und Augenerkrankungen simulieren kann.
